New Message - Keppel Update - School Start Date (Posted 7/30/20)

Good evening, Keppel Learning Community. This is Dr. Jacqueline Cardenas, Keppel Union’s new Superintendent. I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to what promises to be a year of rigorous learning, social-emotional growth, and overall health and wellbeing for students in our school district. The school year will begin on August 12th for the 2020-21 school year via Distance Learning with online instruction only. Our Distance Learning Plan that highlights students’ tentative daily schedules is forthcoming and we intend to have it posted online by August 7th for your review. A childcare supervision survey for children of essential workers is available on our district’s website homepage and it was emailed to families earlier today (July 30). Please know that your child’s school will contact you with information about when to pick up technology devices and instructional materials in the upcoming week. We look forward to a year of “Opening Doors to Infinite Possibilities” in support of students’ success as they “Seek education, strive for excellence, and aspire to greatness.” Thank you.

Gracias.
