Message from the Principal

Welcome to Pearblossom Elementary, home of the fabulous Cheetahs!

At Pearblossom, we are dedicated to increasing student achievement, and enhancing positive character traits to foster well-rounded students. We strive to assure that 100% of our students will have the skills, positive character development, and knowledge to be college and career ready for the 21st Century.

We are continuing our commitment to each and every student’s academic, social and emotional growth. We maintain our focus on standards alignment, and as we embrace the Common Core State Standards, Next Generation Science Standards, C3 Social Studies Standards, and revised Physical Education and Visual and Performing Arts Standards, our teachers strive to design lessons that are aligned to these new standards and engage students at high levels using the FAST lesson framework.

Our emphasis at Pearblossom is the development of the "6 C's", Creativity, Critical Thinking, Collaboration, Citizenship, Character, and Communication.  Students demonstrate these skills through a variety of learning modalities. In addition, we are recognized throughout the district for our Visual and Performing Arts program that consists of Art, Choir, Band, Folklorico, Drama, and Cheer.

Parent and family involvement, and maintaining a positive school culture are priorities.  Information on parent workshops, Family Fun Nights, and how parents can be involved in planning and decision making regarding the operation of the school will be shared via the school calendar, phone messages and via our new web page where school events will be posted.  Please sign up to be a parent volunteer, or come see how you can be involved in continuing to make Pearblossom a great place.  Our goal is to keep all our families informed and involved.

Please feel free to browse through our website and contact me if you’d like to hear more about Pearblossom and all of the great things we are doing. I can be reached at sdecasas@keppel.k12.ca.us.,  or by phone at 661-944-6019. I look forward to hearing from you!

Yours in Education,
Dr. Santos DeCasas
